ABOUT THE ARTIST

For as long as I can remember, art has been a core passion of mine. Being creative, in any form, is something I've always enjoyed. As much as I loved expressing myself through my art, I never expected for it to be anything other than a hobby. The realist in me assumed my creativity was something I would have to pursue in my spare time. For a while, it was.

I have a degree in English with a concentration in education, which lead me to my teaching career. I taught 6th grade English for many years, all the while using any spare time I had to learn and grow in my artistry. I had been a makeup artist for 8 years, so most of my weekends were dedicated to traveling to different wedding venues. This left me with limited time to pursue my greatest passion: tattooing.

After two years of juggling being a teacher, coach for the school cheer team, and makeup artist, I made the decision to pursue tattooing full time, while still doing makeup. Although this choice was both difficult and nerve-wracking, I am beyond grateful that I get to pursue my dreams. In the years since opening my tattooing business, I have become so wonderfully busy with tattooing that I have hung up my hat in the makeup industry as well. 
 

Being able to turn something that you genuinely love, something that you're passionate about, into a career, is a rare thing. I'm so blessed to have the support of my family, friends, and clients who have helped me follow my dreams.
